Here is a quick update with a few random pictures. Korver just turned 4 months and I cant believe how fast time is going. It seems like it goes even faster now that I have two kids! He weighed 15 lbs 13 oz at his appt. He is still such a chunk! I love how much he is interacting with us now. His sister is his very favorite though. He will search the whole room for her so he can laugh and talk to her. And he just started rolling over. He can make it almost to his belly but his arm gets stuck under him. He also just found our dogs and loves to watch and giggle at them. His other favorite thing to do now is spit. He thinks its so funny. But now he is teaching his older sister bad things! It is such a fun age. And he is such a happy easy baby! I am thinking it is true that boys are easier. He is so much more laid back than Kadence was when she was a baby. Kadence is loving being a big sister. She is such a good helper. Sometimes too good. She wants to do EVERYTHING by herself. Luckily Korver is pretty much as big as she is so she cant pick him up. But she just seems so old to me lately. She is starting dance class next month and that is all she can talk about. She is soooo excited! Ok so more posts to come soon I promise :)

Korver is 2 Months!!!

I cant believe my baby boy is 2 months old already! Man the time is flying! Two kids definitely keep you busy, but I am so lucky to have them both! Korver is such a good baby. He is so easy going. He is so smiley lately and loves to tell me stories. The only time he fusses is when he is hungry. And if you cant tell by his cheeks that is pretty much all the time! The boy can eat! He weighed 13 lbs 8 oz at his 2 month check up!

So my beautiful girl is 3! WOW! I dont know how that is possible. But she is the biggest sweetheart! I love her age right now. She is constantly making me laugh with the things she says and her imagination. Her best friend lately is Dora. She plays and talks to her all day every day. And her favorite color is purple. Everything that she wants has to be purple, like her whole birthday party. Happy Birthday baby girl! Thanks for blessing my life for the last three years!

Here is Kadence in the sea of leaves in our backyard. We just had our annual clean up this weekend and luckily I kinda got out of helping with the raking and putting them in the dump trailer due to being so pregnant. And let me tell you that just broke my heart not to get to help :) But it is just ridiculous how many leaves we get. Is it illegal to cut down someone's trees? Because I am very tempted. Who needs 14 huge cottonwood trees in their (and unfortunately my) backyard anyway.

Pumpkin Patch & Halloween Fun

So I was really excited for Halloween this year. Kadence was way excited about her kitty costume and trick-or-treating for the first time. Last year she screamed when I put her costume one so it was fun this year to see her so excited. We took her to Morgan to the business trick-or-treat with some of her cousins and then we went to grandmas for a little party.

About a week ago me and Kadence went to a pumpkin patch in Syracuse with my sister-in-law Lyndzee and her little boy Kayson (I think it was called the Black Forest Farms?). They took us on a hay ride around the farm and then the kids got to pick out a pumpkin. They also had lots of other fun stuff for the kids to do. They had farm animals to look at, slides to play on, a big box of corn to play in (like sand), a blow up pumpkin to jump in, and a cute animal barrel train to ride. It was fun and the kids loved it!

Well this weekend we took a quick trip to Vegas. Tyler was going down to play in a softball tournament and me and Kadence decided to go last minute since we have been home alone so much lately. I was kinda worried about how she would do on such a long drive, but I was pleasantly surprised. She did so much better than I thought she was going to. We borrowed a DVD player for her to watch movies and I think that saved our lives. But we had a really good time. It was so fun to experience Vegas through her eyes for the first time. I think she was amazed and a little overwhelmed by all the lights and everything going on. We stayed at Circus Circus and she loved that. We watched two circus shows; one magic show that was really cool, and then a clown show that was really lame but I think she enjoyed it anyway. Most the day Saturday we were watching softball (one of Kadence's favorite things to do). Then Saturday night we went to Freemont Street to show Kadence the light show on the ceiling. It was really loud so she couldn't decide weather she liked it or not. Sunday we went to the dolphin exhibit at the Mirage. It was really cool to see the dolphins and they also have lots of lions so she really liked that.

So for the last month I have been a single mom... well kinda. Ty was working out of town in Tucson, Arizona since the first of September. So me and Kadence have been trying to find things to do to pass the time more quickly and not be bored out of our minds! He got to come home on the weekends, but it still made really long weeks! And let me tell you that I gained a new respect for single moms out there! It was really hard to be home all day and night with no break. You don't realize how much help our husbands really are until they are gone! And dont get me wrong I love being with my little girl, but I think there were times that we had both had enough of each other. But here are some of the things we have been up to.

So I know I have said this before but if you haven't noticed I really really suck at blogging! I really should just give it up, but I will not let this get the best of me. I am going to persevere and become a great blogger! Ok not very realistic but everyone can dream right :) So I guess I am just going to post a little bit about what we have been up to all this time.
Well first of all for all of you that don't know yet we are having another baby! Yay! Its a boy this time so I am excited. And due new years day so that's cool. I am sure most of you know by now but I thought I should post something about this exciting news!
So it has been a crazy busy summer and we have been on the go constantly and I never remember my camera so this post might seem a little boring for pictures. But I will fill you in. Pretty much our whole summer has consisted of either softball or swimming of some sort. Kadence is in love with swimming and since the Roy pool is like a block from our house we go a lot. We have also been doing some camping. We had Tyler's work party at a nice campground in northern UT. It had a golf course and a pool so that was fun. But we got rained on the whole time so it kinda sucked. We also went to East Canyon with Ty's fam and camped for the weekend in this cool hut thing they have up there. It was pretty nice to stay in if you can ignore the sound of little animal things running around inside, and a thunder and lightning storm outside! We got to go boating though and Kadence loved that. She even rode on the tube with Tyler and didn't want to get off. But other than that we have just been enjoying the nice hot weather! So I will try to do better about updating more often ok :)

My baby girl turned two this Monday! I cant believe it! Time is flying by. She was really fun this birthday. She was so excited about her presents. Everything she opend was "tute" she said. One of her cousins even tried to help her open a few and she wasn't having any of that! We bought her a little Dora the Explorer bike but she cant reach the peddles because she is so little! Luckily she is content for now to just sit on it and scoot around. She is at such a fun age right now. I know everyone says that it is the terrible two's but I love this stage. She definitely has her terrible moments of tantrums and screaming and backtalking me, but overall she is such a good girl! She makes me laugh constantly. I cant believe some of the things that she comes up with. Kids are so hilarious! I feel so blessed to have her in my life. She has changed me in so many ways and has taught me so many things. Happy birthday baby! I love you!

Living Planet Aquarium

We took Kadence down to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy on Saturday. She loves fish so I knew that she would have fun there. And I am always looking for things to do to get out of the house in the winter! I think we are all feeling a little cooped up. I cant wait for spring to get here! But the Aquarium was pretty cool. Not as big as I thought it would be though. But I guess they are making a bigger one that will be 90,000 sq feet so that will be cool when it is done. But this is a fun place if your kids like fish. They have a little pool that you can pet sting reys too.

We went to St. George for Tyler to play softball a few weeks ago and we had lots of fun. We stayed in THE NICEST HOUSE! It was owned by a reletive of Tylers cousin and they let us all stay there for the weekend. Let me just tell you that it is the only time in my life I will probably stay in a million dollar house. But the weather wasn't that great while we were there. It rained the whole weekend so we had to stay in the house most of the time but that was still fun. They had a big theater so we watched a lot of movies. We also did a little shopping and took Kadence to an indoor pool they have down there so she loved that.

Pole Dancing Anyone?

Ok so a month ago my work decided to have a party get together and one of the girls said that we should do a pole dancing party. She had gone to one and said it was a lot of fun. I think at first we were all a little surprised by this idea but we decided to give it a try and let me tell you it was so much fun!! I didnt like the idea at first cause they tell you that you need to wear shorts (which I avoid at all costs) and high heels so you can really get into it. They teach you some basic tricks on the pole and then some sexy dancing and a lap dance that you are supposed to show your husband (which Tyler has yet to see because I feel like an idiot doing it). Once you get over feeling like a big hoochie it was a blast. It was so funny to watch all the girls. And let me tell you how much of a workout it was! I was sore for days after. So all of you girls out there we need to get together and have a party! I would be so fun!

Christmas was so much fun this year! Kadence was so funny to watch! She was so excited about all of her presents. I wasn't really sure if she was old enough yet to really get into it, but she was hilarious. She loved opening all of the presents. She even had to open mine and Tylers.

Yard Cleanup

So we decided to clean up our leaves this weekend since the weather was nice and let me tell you it was not fun! I hate leaves!! And these pictures don't even start to give you an idea of how many leaves we get! It is freaking ridiculous! We have 14 huge trees that hang into our yard so try to imagine! Tyler had a brilliant idea to use a tarp and rake all the leaves onto it and wrap it up and then carry it to the trailer and it worked so much better than bagging. It would have taken us days if we wouldn't have done it with the tarp! That man of mine is so smart, besides being sexy and sweet and wonderful and amazing ect...

Anyway back to the leaves. So I think there was probably a foot deep covering our whole back yard. Last year we paid a guy to do them and today I was thinking that was a good idea because I hate to rake! It makes me realize how out of shape I really am. I did two small piles and I was so tired! It was very pathetic. I think Tyler would have rather done it himself cause I wasn't much help, but its the thought that counts right :)

Twilight Premier!

The Twilight movie is finally here! Yay! Finally! We went to the premier on Thursday night at12:01 am. I must say that of course the movie was not as good as the book, but it was definitely better than I thought it would be. And Edward is still definitely hot hot hot!!! I was still torn between being a Jacob fan or an Edward fan before the movie, but I must say that after seeing him on screen I am sold on Edward! There were some parts that were kinda cheesy and made me laugh very hard. And I was sad that there weren't any better make out scenes!! I mean come on! All of us ladies out there are trying to live vicariously through Bella! But it really was a good movie. And I am so excited to heat that they announced they are starting on the second movie New Moon! Yay! Can't Wait. But I am starting to feel like my Twilight obsession is getting a little out of hand. Any of you ladies with me on this? I think I need Edward rehab or something. But anyway, we almost didn't make it to the movie though thanks to my never ending air-headedness. For some reason I didn't make the connection that on the 21st at midnight it was a Thursday so we were all planning on going to the movie on Friday. Thanks to my wonderful friend Emily K we made it on the right night. Thanks for looking out for me friend! I also almost forgot the tickets! And so I decided that I am not in charge of any outings any more! But it was so much fun to go with my girls! Love you all!

But that is just an excuse because I really just suck at blogging!! But as you can see Kadence was the cutest little butterfly ever! But she was really scared of her costume for some reason so she hated it. She was screaming when we put it on. Tyler had to pretty much hold her down and make her wear it cause I didn't have the heart to do it! It was sad. Then all night she just kept saying "Off mama". So she didn't have her costume on very long :)

So I have decided that it is so much better to go to the zoo in the fall. I hate going in the summer when it is so crowded and hot. We went in the morning and there was practically no one there and all the animals were up playing. It was such a good time to go. Kadence loved it! She didnt want to go home. She is so into animals right now. And Tyler had a good time pestering the tiger. He was so close to us right next to the fence, so he thought it would be funny to kick the fence and scare him. I am surprised we didn't get kicked out. The monkey was my favorite animal of the day. He was singing so loud you could hear him through the whole zoo almost.

We went down to Las Vegas this last weekend. Tylers softball team all went down to play in a tournament. They lost out after only three games so we got to mostly play all weekend. It was a lot of fun. The guys on his team are so goofy. I got to see Freemont Street for the first time. That was cool. I loved the light show they do on the ceiling. But our hotel was so ghetto! We stayed at the Plaza. It was nasty. There was mold and nasty stuff in the shower. And the mattress was hard as a rock. I guess it was cheap for a reason! But the malls in Vegas are amazing! We went to the Vegas Outlet Mall. It was so huge. I could have spent an entire day there. I was in heaven! It was a nice break to have a weekend by ourselves, but I was glad to come home and see my baby girl.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone that came to my surprise party for my 25th birthday! Even though I really didn't feel like celebrating. I was not happy about this birthday. 25 just seems like it is getting so close to 30! I don't like that. It makes me feel old. I usually love my birthdays but not this one. But thats ok. I will get over it. The party was a lot of fun though. I was totally surprised too! I had no idea that Tyler would pull something like that off. I think I was in shock when I walked into my house and there was like 30 people in my living room. Thanks everyone for making this a better birthday :)

Circus Disaster

So me and Tyler got some free tickets to go to the circus (thanks Jason!) and we were so excited. I thought Kadence was going to love it, especially because she is so into animals right now. I was way excited because I love the circus. Who wouldn'd like the circus! So 20 minutes into the show she starts getting fidgety and wants to get down and run. Then she starts throwing a fit and screaming. So we are getting all these dirty looks from all the other parents like "Shut your kid up!". Ya we were those people with the annoying loud kid that everyone hates. So we decided it wasn's worth it. We left after 30 minutes! It was horrible. I was sad I didn't get to see the whole show. So some advice to all you parents out there: Don't take a 19 month old child to the circus!

As some of you may know my little sister got married on September 12th to Jake Rees. They got married in the Salt Lake Temple and had their reception at the Enterprise church. Everything went really good (except that Kadence threw a monster of a fit at the temple and it was very embarrassing) and they looked so cute! And of course the bride was beautiful! I can't believe my baby sister is married! She couldn't have picked a better man though. I know that they will be so happy! Best wishes to you both! We love you!
